Thorne

Hailing from the ••••••• Region, this trainer is the nephew to the Region's king and champion. The champion has no actual children of his own, and due to unfortunate circumstances, Thorne lost both of his parents when he was very young, so he was adopted by his uncle. His uncle looks forward to passing the torch down to them, yet Thorne does not want to have everything handed to them.

They rather dislike the atmosphere that comes with being a relative to someone so prolific. They don't want that to define them, and so they set out seeking to create their own name for themselves.

He went to Galar to participate in the Gym challenge, if only for experience. He found Bede to be an interesting opponent, as well as he found Opal in her younger years to be quite inspiring.

His first pokemon was •••••••, Darquette's first stage. This pokemon typically crops up in places with miserable children, and Thorne fit the bill very well. Him and his Darquette are exceptionally close, he considers his Darquette to be his signature pokemon, as well as his closest friend. He originally met his Darquette, Marie, when he was only 10.

Thorne is a very passive and pessimistic trainer, he is a nephew to a king in a different region, though they don't really acknowledge that fact too often. This design of Thorne is of their debut in Galar, their outfit is slightly more dramatic/less athletic when they're actually equipped to be a specialist in the e4

Thorne gets really miffed when people are interested in him because of his family, because he doesn’t want that title to confine him and define him.

After the events of Galar, he goes to the ••••••• Region, and clears the gym challenge, as well as catches the eye of the champion for the region, eventually ending up becoming a member of the region's elite four, as a Fairy and Ghost type specialist.

Thorne is very aloof, and often neglects his responsibilities as a member for the elite four, he prefers to stick to places with very few trainers, or people in general. He enjoys entering old Chateaus and making sure the local ghost populations are doing alright. He also protects these places from vandalism.
