| Sorrel has never been a bold canterwit. He tends to prefer solitude over the company of others, but when someone really tries to coax him out of hiding he can be persuaded. Being as timid as he is he was drawn to the Wrenbury house. He found the peaceful and gentle atmosphere appealing. Once comfortable with a group of people Sorrel remains more of a follower than a leader. For better or worse he’ll allow himself to be dragged into questionable situations. When he’s really pushed to do something he doesn’t want he shuts down rather than outright opposes. At heart Sorrel very much wants to be helpful. He envies other canterwits that are strong and self-confident enough to be leaders and use their talents for good. He hopes to be more outgoing one day but isn’t quite sure how to achieve that goal. |

| Sorrel is naturally gifted with the ability to grow fruits. He finds the overabundance of plant life in the canterwit realm frustrating. He longs for a blank canvas to use his talents on, but is very skittish about traveling to earth. |
