Sashira's Links
Sashira loves Reyes deeply, she'd dreamed of love when she was just a pup, but she never thought she would have the time to court. With her responsibilities and status as an immortal, she's always busy looking after her region and all who live in it, but Reyes met her where she was at, and did his best to ease the pressure she was constantly under. He was serious when he needed to be, but was usually lighthearted and charming. She fell hard for him and appreciated him greatly, but tried to stay distant knowing she would outlive him. However, despite her efforts, she couldn't stay away and they eventually married. During the ceremony, one of the elder gods appeared and gifted Sashira with a piece of fruit enchanted with a spell of binding, and when Reyes ate it, his soul was bound to Sashira's. When Sashira dies, so will Reyes, but as long as she lives he will be by her side.
Reyes never was one who believed in love at first sight, but when he saw Sashira for the first time, he was enamored. She was surveying the woods to make sure the ecosystem was healthy and could support the pack he was a part of, and he adored how she loved everything around her. Whether it was a magnificent waterfall or a line of ants, she looked at them with love and an undying wonder. Her excitement inspired him, and he offered his company while she was in the area. As he spent time with her, he noticed how she never got a break, and how there was a tiredness about her. He wanted to help her, and in doing so, he too fell in love with looking after the region. With both of them splitting up the work, it became much more manageable, and he became her right-hand man. She was kind, patient, and the perfect partner to curl up with. In his old pack, he never felt like he truly belonged. They were nice of course, but he never felt like he entirely fit in. He swings between moods of chatty excitement and pure silence, and many in his old pack misunderstood that silence for irritation. The silence is not for any bad reason, but sometimes he's just content and wants to ponder or soak in his environment. Sashira was the first person who truly understood him, and he loves how she spends the time to understand him instead of assuming the worst in him. He feels like he can be himself, and loved how Sashira also had a better life with him in it. He was worried for her knowing she would eventually outlive him, so he was thrilled to assume immortality, knowing he could be her partner until the very end.
