Micah

Why the hoodie: Micah is colorblind and has no idea how his design looks chromatically! While his family is very supportive and tells him he looks fine, he's been the victim of bullying for his colorblindness and they've left doubts in his head, telling him his clashing colors are painful to look at. Despite his family's support, Micah is naturally shy and doesn't have many friends, which makes him think that his family is lying to him to improve his self-confidence. The patterned hoodie is one that he saw many 'popular' kids wearing, so he wears it to look better in others' eyes.

Personality: Geeky, soft-spoken and kind, Micah is a perfectly fine person to hang about with as long as you don't mind carrying the conversation. Micah is extremely shy, and starting a conversation with him without planning ahead will likely result in a few comments about the weather and then silence. Despite having almost every item he owns coated in nerdy, funny and sarcastic pins, Micah will get extremely flustered if you mention any of it and will probably sidetrack to something he deems more 'normal' to talk about (which is unfortunately usually the weather and then silence). Micah tries his absolutely best to be as normal as he possibly can be- that is to say, anonymous- and is often find cocooned in his hoodie and a pair of baggy jeans. Due to having a single mother and two sisters, Micah feels a bit more comfortable around feminine-identified people and is more likely to open up to them. It can be somewhat of a shock to see Micah either alone or with his sisters, as he can seem like a completely different person, with a dark and dry sense of humor and a boisterous attitude. However, as soon as he realizes that he's not alone he'll curl up in his proverbial shell almost instantly.

Relationships: Akiko and Micah make for interesting mates, seeing as both see the colors of the world quite differently than the average person. While Micah is completely colorblind, Akiko can see far beyond the normal visible spectrum, meaning both of them can sometimes have some... misunderstandings with fashion. Of course, this isn't the only reason they're dating, nor the reason they met- Akiko and Micah started working at the same food cart, and the close-quarters work environment quickly spurred a friendship between the two.

Hobbies: Strategy MMOs, cooking unique foods, reading up on ancient history

Fun fact: Despite being a goody two-shoes in almost every manner, Micah compulsively smokes. He hates it about himself and wants to stop, but he simply can't seem to break the habit.
