The first of the angels, and the most beloved by Mavere, Lysre doesn't seem to share many traits with the other angels on Luno. For one, they're massive, with a strange halo and a much greater understanding of the universe at large .... what they're doing on Luno is a mystery.Woken from their long-suspended state by a Trancian expedition, they're now prisoner in the Temple of the Heavenly Trance, an unknown variable to be investigated. With the loss of their halo (hidden somewhere in the capitol cathedral complex no doubt), they're quite weak, and robbed of their powers. It's unclear if they're able to bond to their halo in the way that Lunosan angels do, but at this rate, they'll never find out .... ABILITIES Lysre lacks the usual alignment of Lunosan angels, seemingly independent of the existing system. Their powers thus don't consist of nuanced influences; instead they wield raw power, bursts of force and flame channeled through their spear. Their wings also are a physical part of them rather than a metaphysical projection. They owe their huge size to flaws in their creation, but it isn't really a detriment aside from the difficulty of finding things size-appropriate for them. It does make their attacks massive and far-reaching, a formidable threat on the battlefield. The field generated by Lysre's halo protects them from the effects of exposure to outer space (don't ask how). They can't leave the planet without it. |
