Yin just going by her appearance alone is recognizable as the faulty clone. She's seen as a failure in Team Rocket's eyes and is basically only around to keep her older twin from going rogue.
Yin is skittish and cautious of her surroundings and is almost never seen with Yang, unless he's out on a mission. Very much a wallflower and is forced to be kept secluded from other experiments. Yin, while having the Psychic typing, has very weak Psychic abilities. Her body is quite fragile and she is physically weak but will stand up for Yang when needed.
Yang was the successful clone out of the experiment. While he hates being in and working for Team Rocket, he cares about his twin more. He views himself equal to Yin and will fight anyone who calls his sister weak.
Yang is overprotective and caring towards Yin, often not leaving her side most of the time. While he does have good patience for a good chunk of the time, his short temper makes up for the rest. He's physically more stronger than an average Pikachu with his Dark typing being strong that his Psychic.
Twin Pikachu experiments that were created by Team Rocket. The experiment was to see if they could experiment on creating twins at the same time. The results were a bit mixed. One was seen as a success while the other became physically unstable and faulty.
Team Rocket would've done away with the faulty experiment until they realized they need to keep it around to keep the successful experiment in place, as a sort of blackmail.
