Adopted by a famous family known for raising poor lost orphans into loved heroes, Maw was always the odd one out. With a love for magic and dark arts, his family was quick to isolate him as best as possible to avoid letting him ruin the family image. Now a young man who has left home he has a vendetta against anyone in the good alignment and scorns the self righteous paladins and clerics his family wanted him to be so badly.
Maw has a very standoffish personality. He prefers to avoid the company of others and absolutely despises small talk. If you can share a moment of silence with him that's all it takes to win him over. Maw is very passionate about his craft and his deity, though extremely hesitant to open up to others due to his upbringing. It's definitely not something one could ask about themselves. He believes he has a gift and will show you when he thinks you've earned it.
His deity is a forgotten god, an eldritch being who has always appeared to him in dreams since he was a child as a giant woman with a face covered in eyes. She very lovingly has taught him about herself and her magic, forming a makeshift mother and child relationship to make up for Maw's lack of one growing up.
His familiar is a deity's underling who’s physical form takes place of a demon like being living in his pomp, controlling it as if it were it’s own being.
