Beri is admitedly good in academics, but he undermines his own efforts. He was raised in a relatively normal family, and though they were always proud of his achievements and excel in his studies he saw it as pressure through his pessimistic lens and developed anxiety because of it. The kindness and patience from his parents made him feel even more undeserving and guilty, as he still felt weighed down due to his own insecurities. He loves animals and creatures and he is well liked in return as well, but he fears commitment and responsibility, so he owns a stuffed animal instead.
Beri gives up easily on himself and has a defeatist attitude that he hates. Beri's voice is quiet and he talks with a stutter, along with that he has anxiety so he has a very hard time communicating with others. However, he desperately wants to have friends, because admitedly he gets lonely easily and gets sad when he starts feeling lonely. He's on his journey to self growth and care, Ganbaberi!
Beri specialises in alchemy, making potions that act as healing aid and stat boosts along with conjuring spells to inflict enemy debuffs. He doesn't think he's all that great at it but he's actually quite capable in the field.
