Aleksanteri Sparda

Aleksanteri "Alek" Sparda is the son of Reese Sparda (née Fusco) and Dante Sparda. Much to his mother's dismay, he is a junior devil hunter alongside his close childhood friend, Priscilla and his cousins, Julius and Flora. His mother often threatens to ground him for being his father's son. Like Dante, Alek has a carefree attitude towards life and especially towards dangerous situations. You can always find him taunting anyone who is of a superior authority over him. He considers it an art to be developed to push someone’s buttons to see just how much he could get away with. He prefers only those close to him to call him Alek. While it doesn’t bother him if people outside of his close circle do, he finds it entertaining to feign irritation at the mispronunciation of his name. Alek believes in the importance of transparancy. As a result, he is very blunt. If he is disinterested in something, he'll often say, "Honestly, this isn't worth my time. Maybe you should invest in a hobby instead?" Alek tends to get overly confident in a serious fight. He finds enjoyment in fighting with people or demons he deems worthy. He is always looking to push himself beyond his limits. He loves to joke around. On occassion during hunts with Priscilla and his cousins, he will pretend an injury is more serious than it is before explaiming,"Sike!" It often garners him punches from Julius and Priscilla, and a mild scolding from Flora. He enjoys poking fun at his cousin, Julius, and his childhood friend, Priscilla. He absolutely hates being lectured or disciplined and often spaces out when it happens. Alek does not feel like he has anything to prove to anyone and is typically seen as very smug or as a suave quiet boy when around classmates and strangers. He finds it hard to build relationships outside of his family because he doesn't trust very easily. Despite his taunting and somewhat apathetic nature, Alek is always willing to put his own life on the line to protect someone in need. While it is a positive attribute, it leaves him open to being gullible. He has a soft spot for a good sob story, even if it happens to be a lie. It often gets him into a mess where his life becomes endangered. Alek occasionally accompanies his parents on hunts. Because they always intercede when a demon far stronger than him attacks, he never admits when he's scared or needs help. Like his mother, his frustration comes out as extreme anger since he has the bad habit of bottling up his negative emotions. He will lash out and close himself off. To overcome his frustration, he often disappears and does something incredibly reckless. Someone usually tracks him down before he gets seriously injured.

• Alek wields a large scythe called Diabolus Redemptionem
• Like his father, he carries around two pistols, Reverentia and Proditione
• As a hybrid, he has superhuman strength, durability, and speed.
• Alek can use the chain on his belt as a weapon. Though it looks like it would break easily, Nico handcrafted it from an alloy strengthened by demonic essence.
• Like his father, he can regenerate from most wounds almost immediately. He needs to be cautious when fighting against someone with devil made weapons as it can take longer to heal from and the demon essence from them can poison his blood.
• Alek inherited his mother's abilities of pyrokinesis and fazing in and out of limbo, both of which he is unable to fully control

• Often wears his hair in a messy bun because that's how he wore it during dance lessons with his mother.
• Alek has always been enamored with his father's Devil Arm, Cavaliere. When he was 11, he took it for a joy ride. Not realizing it could separate as a weapon, he got injured and has a scar on his face from the incident.
• Aleksanteri is of Greek origin, meaning defender of man.

Dante Sparda

Father

Alek's father and whom he would more than likely call his best friend. Dante is the first to run to his defense, even when Alek gets himself in trouble with his mother. He has great admiration for his father when it comes to his fighting abilities and aims to surpass him. Though he ends up getting hurt a lot, he always enjoys his sparring sessions with his father. While he does enjoy goofing around with his dad, he often feels embarrassed by him when he praises him. Even if he fails a class in school, his father is his number one supporter.

Reese Sparda

Mother

On the outside looking in, people are often surprised by how strong of a bond Alek has with his mother. Because he is so much like his father, Alek and his mother often butt heads. Like his father, he pushes her buttons to get a rise out of her. Alek enjoys dancing due to his mother's influence. While she seems hard on him, they both know it's for his own benefit. Alek's reckless nature often gets him into trouble. While he doesn't want to admit it, he relies on discipline to help push him and to control his abilities.

Flora

Cousin

The child of V and Tasha, Alek considers Flora a literal perfect combination of their parents. Whenever the kids get into trouble, they all seem to rely on Flora's intellect. He jokes that Flora got the last remaining brain cell of the Sparda bloodline. Though a cousin and raised in different cities in their early childhood, Alek considers Flora more of a sibling. He would face every demon in the underworld and limbo to keep them safe.

Julius

Cousin

The son of Nero and Claudia. Just as Alek is much like his father, Julius is a lot like his own father. The two boys tend to show their affection for each other through physical contact such as punching each other in the arms, impromptu sparring sessions, or bickering. Alek loves poking Julius' cheek when he gets flustered and taunting him to make his flustered nature even worse. While he loves his cousin, the one thing Alek hates about him is his inability to lie, as it often gets Alek into more trouble than he already was. Though a cousin and raised in different cities in their early childhood, Alek considers Julius more of a brother. He would face every demon in the underworld and limbo to keep him safe. He likes to say "No one's allowed to make Jules cry except me!"

Priscilla

Friend

The adopted daughter of family friends, Trish and Aradia. Much like his relationship with Julius, he has a hostile, yet friendly relationship with Priscilla. The only difference is that Alek and Priscilla tend to get into actual fights from time to time. Because the two grew up together, whenever they were caught fighting as young children, their parents would make them hug each other to get along. Being older now, to make up, the two will often call each other names. Alek usually goes with "Prissy Pants." While Priscilla isn't family and they can have a tumultuous relationship at times, he considers her a very close and dear friend. Just as he would for his cousins, he would face every demon in the underworld and limbo to keep her safe.
