Ripley

This is Ripley, also known as "R". She was a character I had originally come up with for a tabletop compaign that never saw the light of the day, but I enjoyed working on her concept so much that she stuck with me. 

Hailing from the frigid plains, forests, and taigas of the Northern continents, her tribe of sun and moon worshipping nomads mastered the art of pyromancy for their survival, and then prosperity. The art is risky however, so only those with enough magical aptitude or motivation to control flames are chosen as the tribe's "Lantern Bearers" - the fire magicians that keep the hearths lit and the sun in their hearts during long winter nights.
