It is common to believe a person like Ace would never harm others, and it is true..That is unless you encounter his more "unstable" side. That side known as VeNoM who, quite literally, could off you within seconds, is not to be messed with for Ace can't even control it fully, the reason being that it is fairly difficult to come to your senses when you're blinded by pure hatred.
Now, the smiling elf VeNoM is not some split personality living within Ace's body as they ARE Ace. In other words, when Ace reaches a certain level of emotional stress, the markings will spread all over him, his pupils will disappear as a wide smile spreads across a now enraged VeNoM. In that state, they only laugh with limited speech, not like they'd want to talk things out anyway. The actions committed as them are difficult to justify as even Ace cannot say if what he has done as VeNoM is truly an act of self-defence or plainly an hideous crime.

"BACKSTORY"
The number of times they have come out is fairly low, only being twice for the obvious reason that Ace doesn't want to attack innocents over petty arguments. The first time took place during his escape from the laboratory. Counting 22 bodies scattered across the laboratory hallways. No remorse were shown at that moment, all that the young 14 yrs old felt at the time was rage and..sadness.
The second time happened recently, restrain was shown when it all happened, He made the choice to spare the fools who kidnapped and hurt his sister. He spared them..but still broke a few bones in order to get the message across to NOT touch his family.
