Background
Nariko, born in the underwater settlement of Ma'ifae, was moved by their parents to Moko Reef at a very young age. The move was done in order to give Nari a chance at having chibling friends that were not all Me-Chi but since the location they live at isn't very populated Nari rarely interacts with all Chi at all. Due to their constant use of overalls, not many bubs know that they have the aqua curse on their chest in a similar manner to one of their feminine parents. That same parent ended up gaining an injury that made a deep cut through the surface that contains the liquid of the aqua curse. Since the area that's leaking contains the parent's heart, the other parents are afraid that moving back underwater would cause the leaking to increase in speed. Neither of the healthy parents are willing to make the journey as they have to watch over the other 2 members of the family, Nari can't go either because they were too young to remember exactly where it is and getting lost underwater could end up really badly for them. Due to the extreme extent of the injury, Nari has decided to venture off on the quest for magic or knowledge on how to heal such a wound without having to travel back to the Ma'ifae Settlement.

Summary
Nari's led a fairly uneventful life, all 3 of their parents are still together and the only thing that makes them special is the aqua curse visibly showing their heart. They're looking for a way to heal one of their parent's pierced curse surface and are determined to make sure that they're parent will survive. Confidence is key and Nari has plenty of it to share with anyone who crosses their path.
