From his behaviour and mannerisms to his great big mischievous grin, Beleth is clearly a rambunctious and absolutely untameable boy. He's only lived for the equivalent of a few short human generations, so by demonic standards he has no business turning up in a summoner's circle, but during a botched attempt at calling forth his powerful father - the CURRENT Beleth in a long line of familial succession that has been flawlessly maintained since the dawn of Hell's hierarchy - that's exactly what happened. Absolutely thrilled to find himself on the mortal plane rather than in the midst of his studies under watchful caretakers, Beleth [technically Beleth LXIV] immediately escaped the weak bonds of the summoner's circle and rushed off to explore! As you would expect of a boy who's been kept under strict control all of his life, Beleth is absolutely no good at controlling any impulse that drives him towards a good time. There isn't an opportunity for a game or an exciting new experience that he won't take up, because he just doesn't have it in him to consider whether or not there may be sinister or unpleasant ramifications waiting at the end of those adventures. Although he's destined to grow up and become a bonafide Prince of Hell, Beleth is more of a mischief maker than a cruel or evil boy, and it seems like he really just wants to have fun.

  Positive Character Traits

► Happy-go-lucky and bubbly, and VERY hard to bring down. He just likes to enjoy himself, and it's hard not to consider his smile a little infectious.
► Naturally inquisitive and a quick learner. Sure, he hates to be sat down and made to read or study, but he actually IS a very keen pupil when it's something he's interested in.
► Imaginative and open-minded. He's a lot more willing to question and to challenge the status quo than any of his tutors back home would like.
► Compensates for his lack of wings by being VERY quick and athletic.

  Negative Character Traits

► VERY sensitive about his lack of wings. It's unusual for a demon with a draconic form, such as Beleth, to be hatched without them, and he feels very much like his lack of wings is some kind of ugly birth defect. He's liable to snap or sulk if it's brought up.
► Irresponsible and flakey. He understands what's expected of him, but he deliberately refuses to follow through on instructions or behave reliably.
► Has a short attention span for things that haven't captured his interest. If you don't have his attention within 30 seconds, you won't have him at all.
► Doesn't really GET the human aversion to hedonism and sinfulness. He thinks that life is meant to be enjoyed and indulged in, and that humans are awfully silly for purposefully avoiding the easy path to gratification. He's a product of his upbringing at least in some ways, after all.
