Quill

A strange monster, though fully sentient despite its appearance, Quill feeds by physically draining the colour out of other living beings. They do this by using their pen tail tip like a syringe- the better fed they are, the more colourful their dripping inky body is. The 'spikes' on its back are actually large marker tips that are constantly wet- this is where Quill stores the colour it takes from its victims, slowly feeding off of it over time. Once Quill drains someone of their colour, not only do they lose the ability to see colour physically, but they grow chronically lethargic and quickly lose the ability to feel much out of their emotions. Quill also has the ability to inject specific colours into living beings, or even inject colours into inanimate objects to give them 'life', though the way they react and understand the world around them is specific to the emotions tied to the colour given to them.

Quill is distantly related to Lex, who doesn't really mention her relation to him as she is both embarrassed and also somewhat frightened of him.
