Laurent Percival Flammia

Laurent is the son of Lady Vesta. They were an incredibly wealthy family that held a lot of power in the Kingdom of Flames. He killed his mother and took the title of Lord.

His mother was an absolutely awful person who would kill anyone that disobeyed her and turned their corpses into mindless zombies that would then attack anyone else that disobeyed. She didn't think anyone but those in her family were worth anything. Everything had to be perfect for her and her son. Of course, this was all hush hush and nobody knew. Everyone outside her land thought she was a sweetheart that would do no harm. Anyone that found out would be bribed and/or killed, and she made Sure to remind Laurent of this, as well as of the fact he wouldn't of had this perfect life without her. She didn't know why her son seemed so cold to her, even after everything she'd done. They had everything they could ever want! Wealth, power, magic, even all the books Laurent could ever want! He had even considered running away, but she made sure remind him she could just have someone bring him back. If he's not here, whos going to take her place if something happens to her?!

Laurent had had Enough, enough of being tied down by guilt and fear because of his mother. He could only see one way out of this, he didn't care if this made him as bad as her anymore. He wasn't going to let anyone else get hurt by her ever again, himself included.

He bought a bow and some blessed arrows in secret from some runaway angels. The burn from holding the arrows was Nothing compared to what she had done. One night from outside her window, he took aim and...

Some years later after they thought they got all settled in to the role of Lord and was done sorting things out and could finally move on he inherited more of his moms problems! Apparently there was a hit on “the Flammia family” from God because word had spread of her killing whoever she pleased, INCLUDING some of their angels. Of course, he had to be blamed for this as well. He managed to make his attacker retreat, but with wounds that big he knew he wasn't going to make it. He passed out very soon after making that realization.

That night, he had a wonderful dream he made a deal with another demon. He would share his necromancy powers with them and teach them how to use them and in return he would be able to get some of that other demons life force every time something happened to them. And on top of that, they even offered to hide him for free! He didn't know how long he would need to stay there, but he doesn't imagine it'll be long. (Laurent, 500 years later: lol)

When he awoke, however, he realized it wasn't a regular dream. His wound had sealed some, he was in a strange room with large bookcases all around, and there was a dead body in front of him.
