Marie Hewlett

Marie is the captain of the Ventura City Drifters, and the de facto Team Mom.

She was raised in a foster home for birds! Her family is very beaky.

A level-headed team captain, she's able to keep her team's spirits high and yet keep them from going overboard. It takes a lot for her to crack under pressure.

Marie uses the tried-and-true skyhook popularized by one of her 70s basketball idols as her main shot, and uses her height for post plays. She's especially good at defense as well, but tends to give her juniors some mercy.

She wears contacts, though when she can't find them she wears round glasses.
