Viktor Rhyius

Bio

Viktor was quite an interesting little thing when he was born. The child of a Nucalisar father. A race that was highly frowned upon and looked down on by nearly every race. He and his mother didn't have much money. But Vik never seemed to notice it. He was a happy child. Even if he was a lonely one. As he grew, slowly beginning to notice more and more that parents tended to pull their children away from him, and having them play with someone else.

He first thought it was because his eyes were weird. Purple even among most races wasn't an overly common shade. And his were two different shades. Maybe that was what they were afraid of? Often telling them it was okay. But still he was avoided by most. It left lonely, and sometimes a little sad. But he didn't often let it get him down, happy to spend his time with his mother and doing what he could to help out.

He was 14 when his father showed up one day. A tall, dark, scruffy looking man with with deep red eyes and a handsome smile if one that didn't look like a very trustworthy one. That night was very hard for him to sleep as the two argued for most of the night. His father wanted to take him away. He'd be useful, and he had things to be taught that he said his mother simply couldn't because she wasn't a Nucalisar. She wouldn't know. Wouldn't understand. The man trying to take him away. He refused, clinging to his mother and refusing to go with the man he had never met. He left in anger and refused to remain. The young man holding his mother as she cried.

At 16 he left home. His mother having started to get sick, and by then it had only gotten worse, and so left to try and find his dad once more. He found him, but he refused to help and told him he'd have to deal with it. He could stick around and learn from him. Or he could go back and watch his mother die. Viktor was furious. Trying to attack his father for being so heartless of a person. He was shocked to suddenly be face to face with an enormous six legged bearlike creature. Being taken down to the ground.

It took a while, but Vik finally accepted his father to teach him what was needed. First having to kill the creature who's form he would take. Upsetting him more than he cared to admit as he killed the large, birdlike creature. Apologizing as he ended it's life. Then under the teachings of his father, skinned the creature and thus took his first form. Using it to his advantage to steal things from others. It was a dirty job, and it was something he didn't find much joy in. But he did what he needed in order to get the medication he needed for his mother.
