Personality
Futami is a very hard worker and always takes her job seriously. At work, she can plaster a smile on her face the whole day and reason calmly with even the most annoying customers. When payments are made in cash, she makes sure to count every coin to make sure the correct amount is received and/or given in change. Small mistakes bother her a lot more than large ones do, so she tends to focus on tiny, often useless things which can cause some problems at times.
When she's off work, Futami becomes a bit different. She gets excited really easily and can panic when faced with a situation she can't handle rather than facing it calmly like she would at work. She's also a bit of an airhead and quite scatterbrained but she also has a set way of thinking that's very hard to change. When she dislikes something, she dislikes it with a passion unlike at work where she has her "customer-is-always-right" attitude. Conversations with Futami don't last on one topic for very long because she gets distracted a lot. She could be talking about nuclear bombs and before you know it, she'll be rambling to you about how nice the glow of the street lights are in the dark.

- She's fluent in Korean and Japanese, although she does have a bit of an accent when she speaks Japanese and sometimes it takes her a while to think of the word she's trying to say

History
Futami was born to a wonderful family in Tokyo, Japan. Or at least, she likes to believe that they were wonderful; she never got the chance to know. Her parents had wanted a boy, someone strong and handsome who would take over the family business and carry on the family name, and Futami was the furthest you could get from that. A month after she was born, Futami was put into an adoption center. Her parents still cared for her, so they made sure that she was in the best center and was only allowed to be adopted by truly caring families. Her parents did their best to keep the name of the adoption center out of the media, but of course, everything leaks eventually and once people found out, the amount of people lining up to adopt Futami was overwhelming. Because of this, the adoption center sent Futami to a smaller agency in South Korea in order to keep her safe and taken care of while things quieted down in Japan. Of course, news is international and a few people in South Korea knew about Futami as well, so her name was changed to Byeon, Minseo.
Futami grew up a quiet child. She didn't know anything other than the adoption center so she thought it was normal and that all children went through this when they were young. As she got older, though, she learned the truth: her parents didn't want her so she ended up here. Apparently no other families wanted Futami either because she was 9 with no one taking an interest at her at all.
Everything changed in the summer after her 10th birthday. It started with a call from an adoption center back in Tokyo offering to let Futami return to Japan since the media had long forgotten about her. She agreed to go and it would turn out to be the best decision of her life. Not even a month after she arrived in the Tokyo adoption center, she had a few families take interest in her. The agency worked quickly and matched Futami to a kind family who had already adopted a boy many years earlier, and said boy was now married and the leading project manager of a large tech firm. Futami was very nervous at first, especially because of the language barrier. During her time in foster care, she relearned a bit of Japanese and started learning English since she didn't have much else to do with her spare time, but it wasn't enough to actually live in Japan. However, she was young and the agency assured her that she would be able to learn quickly, which she did.
Futami is currently very happy with her life. She found a job despite her minimal education, and it's one that she loves very much. Her new family is unbelievably kind and lovely to her and she's so thankful that she was able to have such a warm home. She continues to live with her parents to this day and she wouldn't be surprised if she ended up staying there for the rest of her life.
