Rumours, lies and slander. A young cat shouldn't have to deal with such thoughts. Yet Raven did when his mother continued to lie to him and his kin about this true bloodline.

Instead of being fullblood ShadowClan as was told to him, he was now outed as a half-blood. Half BloodClan for that part, the most hated and feared group of cats. He dispises his mother for lying to him but find a new curiosity in these lies to seek out his father. Maybe one day they'll meet..

A few moons pass and a new threat rises. ShadowClan leader Tallstar dissappears into thin air together with Sinclaw, who is later sighted and reported as the new BloodClan commander. This can't mean anything good..

Weeks pass and more information is revealed. Sinclaw turned out to be the murderer of both his aunt and grandmother. The black and white she-cat get's put up high on his 'to-kill' list. ShadowClan deputy Acorndust organizes a patrol to help rescue Tallstar, who is assumed to be held hostage by BloodClan.

This results in a wild mix-up of confrontation. A cat got murdered before Ravenpaw's eyes. His big idol Wolfpaw stood before the most diffucult choice of her life. In the hour of need more cats seemed to be betrayers to ShadowClan, Wolfpaw amongst them. This turned out to be the most hurt the young tom-cat ever felt. Things quickly turned around as Wolfpaw pinned her mother down, putting her into ShadowClan's captivity. They return to the camp, but what will they find there?
