BACKSTORY
Ever since he was a child, Ryo could see the phantoms with unfinished business still living in this world. It was a curse on his entire family and anyone who married into it. The phantoms can't interact with the world, and they have to live like real people. They can't walk through walls, but can walk through people and plants. Ryo kept to himself about it and the phantoms never bothered him. It was until a certain phantom started following him around that he made friends with one-- a little girl without a face, the most human-looking one he had seen so far. Nicknamed Non-chan, she started living with him when he let her inside his house one day. Though he found it strange, he didn't mind as Non-chan seemed friendly. Ryo lives alone in his high school dorm as his parents divorced when he was a child and both were too busy to take care of him.
One day, he was confronted by an underclassman he didn't know very well-- He only knew he was somewhat popular in his grade. A boy named Kuroha claimed he could also see the phantoms, and confessed that he had been following Ryo, and Ryo's life went down a spiral from that day on.
