Ronan is a very, very pale person; more often than not his complexion could be compared to that of a corpse. His build also is on the side of too thin, all sharp angles and not the softness that should be found in Circle Mages. His nose has been broken more than a few times. His eyes are grey, not that it's as visible with the fact that they've clouded over thanks to that encounter with an archdemon. After ten years of research and healing, and more than a few questionable magical experiments, he's able to see with bright blue eyes once more. Ronan's black hair is usually kept long, and occasionally wrangled into a ponytail to get out of his face. He has a number of scars, both from fighting darkspawn, demons, and any number of enemies, but also from using his own blood in casting. Most of those scars are clustered around his forearms and hands.

Ronan does not like people. He doesn't like interacting with people, and would be far happier to be left alone. This, however, is not something he's able to have, so Ronan is a very prickly person. He's not needlessly cruel, he has his friends and lover, but he simply doesn't like to deal with a good 99% of other people. He's no good at politics or diplomacy, and has the charisma of a potato, while also being fiercely loyal to those he does like. He's a lot like the mabari, a war hound that's able to to attack the enemy, while remaining a loyal and trusted companion.
