Nestled in a comfy cottage in the woods, Hansuke spends much of his time tending to his lush garden, filled with a variety of flowers, herbs, and roots, which he uses to produce a selection of traditional medicine. Hansuke sells his stocks to passing travelers, often packing a handful of baked goods as a kind service. Whatever harvests he doesn’t sell during the week are packaged and brought to the village market, where he prepares flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbal tea, and some baked goods for purchase.

Hansuke met Yosuke on a trip to the village when he was 15, and the two immediately hit it off. They quickly bonded over their love of sweets, nature, and tea; the pair often met and brewed new, experimental teas together with whatever herbs they’d found lying in the cabinet. Before they knew it, the two were inseparable, and have been ever since!
