Hattie Talandren is a wizard best known for creating the spell of Mushroom Sentience. She runs a potion shop in Illiphine Rarawynn with her husband, Mekhi. She is never seen without her mushroom companion, Melvin.
Growing up in a large Elvish community, Hattie was exposed to magic at a very early age. She was obsessed with becoming a wizard, but was turned away by her first mentor due to her incompetence and her creation of Melvin the Mushroom. She instead attended the most famous magic academy in the world.
Hattie is an incredibly happy-go-lucky person. She's always the life of a party, and will talk to anyone who even remotely interests her. She loves bein with other people, and loves talking off the ears of anyone who will stay around to listen to her.
- Hattie was born as Kelkaylen Talandren in Irlim, Illiphine Rarawynn.
- She is married to her childhood sweetheart, Mekhi Alantar. Together, they have two daughters and a son.

They make a very unlikely pair, considering Cav is mute and Hattie is way too talkative, but Hattie thinks of Cav like a little brother.

Both Mak and Hattie have a love for nature and its creatures. They can easily bond over this shared appreciation, but a minute later, be at each other's necks.
Hattie and Mekhi first met at a magic academy, and started a relationship during their schooling. When Hattie returned from her grand adventure, the two finally married. Hattie and Mekhi seem very different, but they work well together and adore each other's company.
Hattie brought Melvin to life by accident, but ever since then, they have been inseparable. He is Hattie's most trusted friend, and most powerful ally.
Hattie and Pedro were originally just smoking buddies, but they have now become irreplaceable comrades. Hattie doesn't mind that being friends with Pedro comes with extra weird little things.
Hattie sort of sees Tide like a big dog to play with. She finds her presence calming, even if her music can be a little grating on the ears.
