Theodora Amora is the general of the country of Agrines' army. She has been in the position since she was twenty-five. She is the estranged child of the current dictator of Cayacalli, Wizard Zegdas Dragmire.
Growing up in Cayacalli, Theodora lived primarily with her mother, Amora, a member of the Amazonian tribe of Cayacalli. Her father, righthand man to the pharaoh, overpowered the kingdom and took control of the country thanks to a pact with the God of Madness. Sensing the danger, Amora fled to Agrines with her daughter five years prior to her lover's fall into insanity.
Theodora's main goal is to avenge her countrymen. As his child, she feels a responsibility over protecting her home country from Zegdas' menace. Theodora is a very strong and powerful woman, and when faced with the man she despises, nothing will stop her from doing what she believes is just and right.

Theodora has a deep seated grudge against warlocks. Because of this, she doesn't fully trust Lu. However, since she knows her daughter so well, Theodora knows without a doubt how Petal feels about the man. She keeps her mouth shut for her daughter's happiness.
Theodora would do anything to ensure her daughter is happy. She only wants the best for Petal, and wishes she would focus more on herself rather than putting so much importance on the people around her. Theodora beats herself up every day when she sees Petal's ballet slippers hanging dormant and untouched.
