She is only inspired and has a different story and personality. 

Kyouko is an arcade gamer girl that dominates her local arcade place. She's dubbed the dance queen. Because of this she's also seen as the boss of the area, so she gets into fights a lot with anyone from different "territories". She's considered a problem child at school but she's actually just awkward. She's seen to be very good with kids and always cheer kids up
