History(ish?)

Oscar moved do a small town to escape rocky relationships and things he would rather not remember or talk about, to turn a new leaf in his life so to speak, sadly his life in this small cozy town didn't turn out so normal as he would have hoped. Out of kindness of his heart he started to pay attention to bizarre things happening around the town and out of his foolish curiosity started to investigate them, mysteriously almost dying in the process.

After his soul touched the after life and merged with spira he has gained the ability to see and sense death/ghosts. He can sense people who are close to death for one reason or another but not far in the future, mostly just in a week or two. For example he saved a man who was going to go sailing with his family. 

One day Oscar was talking with a man from his village and he  suddenly started to change form in bright daylight. The mans skin started to turn gray and body bloated, water seeping trough his clothes and from his mouth while he talked. Even though by this point visions like this had happened to Oscar so often that he had lost track of them all, it didn't make it any easier for him to keep his composure all the same and when he finally gathered himself and asked if the man had any holiday plans he told Oscar about the sailing plan and he ended up gently but surely persuading him changing his plans.
