Snake man (Crystalbelly Crawler) who has a terrible tendency for his venom to just start spurting out uncontrollably for ages, leaving puddles of the stuff behind. It's sort of like a nosebleed, but more and deadlier. This happens way more often than he'd like and he gets super distraught/paranoid about it. Overall, he's sort of a stressed little man who never wants to hang around anybody for too long for fear of his venom leaking. Sometimes, he can kinda feel it coming on, which causes him to freak the flip out. Leaks happen for varying amounts of time and can cause his teeth/gums/mouth/general face to ache quite a bit if it goes on for too long. Soreness typically only happens if the leak carries on for 40 minutes (?) or so, though. Can last anywhere between a minute to three hours. His body works overtime to make more venom, which can make him feel kinda lousy or bring on another leak. When people sit on a couch with him, there's something about him that feels okay just to fall asleep...?? This happens a lot and he's not really bothered nor one to judge

-Very quick and agile lil dude - doesn't often need to be, though
-Shy and easily flustered
-Kinda weak to having his hair brushed or combed through, but also super embarrassed by this. Internally screaming at himself not to react if anybody ever touches his hair.
-Has a bit of a problem with not only wanting to eat tiny creatures, but big game as well. Predatory instincts hit him really hard and are not swayed by how hungry he is.
-Eats like ten times his weight, he's a super hungry bean
-Digestive system's very aggressive - stuff doesn't last nearly as long
-Venom causes paralysis and - if not quickly treated - death. His bite is stronger than the actual Black Mamba's - even more so if he's in his snake form. Causes collapse in 20 minutes if humanoid, 5 if snake. Death can occur anywhere between ten minutes to seven hours afterwards. Has lots of nasty symptoms as well and he hates just thinking about any of it
-Always wanted to go to a concert, but never has for fear that he wouldn't be able to sit through the whole thing without a venom leak
-Eyebrows make a little upside down 'v' shape when pressed together
-Scales are super obvious in specific places (like that one patch on his face)
-Has a tendency to get himself super stressed out and worked up - even to the point of tears
-Likes cinnamon a whole lot
-When he was little, the neighborhood/school kids spread rumors that he bit and killed both his parents and now lived in an orphanage. Everybody was shocked when his parents actually showed up and it was the worst (for him, anyway)
-Although he daydreams about his soulmate magically showing up and making his life ~so much better~ he's terrified at the thought of kisses. Somebody's face being so close to his deadly teeth is a no-no
-Out of pure paranoia, he buys the antidote to his venom and never leaves home without it. Because it goes unused, it's always expiring, making him have to buy more. It's really a waste of money, but it makes him feel a fraction better. If he forgets the antidote, his day is automatically awful
-He has less chance of his venom exploding everywhere if he's calmer. Knowing this does not help much.
-Can't swallow his venom. Granted, he won't die from it or suffer any of the other conscienceless, but his insides will go to war, causing him much sadness. A few drops are okay. A mouthful is absolutely not.
-Rainy days, untouched/clean hotel rooms, dim neon lights, white Christmas lights inside, black and white posters, laundry detergent smell, quiet white noise, heavy throw blankets, hot cocoa with lots of toppings/different variations, TV always on with very low volume, and cream/blue/grey palettes (sort of a likes/general vibe list?? Idk)
-He really likes rain. It calms him down both hearing it and watching it. Most of the time, he doesn't mind getting caught in it, but he does find it to be cozier if he's inside.
-Likely to have quiet white noise or rain sounds playing inside his house.
-Despite his unionization, everything in his house is clean and washed. Piles of stuff and messes are mostly reserved for tables, counter-tops, and the floor close to the wall.
-He might live in a hotel, like a really tall one. If so, there's a big window in the living room area that mainly just shows the sky and a few shadows of taller buildings unless you get close enough to look down.
-Possibly works in the same office building where Bagel is kept. Either way, he's got some boring office job
It was late when Festus met Sherbert. The sky had already darkened and most of the city had gone to sleep. He was crawling home after working late and running some errands. To try and save some time, he went a few back ways. This worked for a while, but he eventually saw something that made him freeze in his tracks: a person robbing a store. He should have run, but didn't have it in him. So, when she turned around, she inevitably saw him. The two of them stared at each other for a few seconds before she pounced on him, pinning him to an alley wall. Threateningly, she began to speak to him as one does to a witness, but poor Festus' nerves got the better of him. She wasn't able to get through more than a handful of words before venom was splashing everywhere. Panicking, he tried to apologize and make sure she didn't need the cure, but this was the final straw. Sherbert ended up kidnapping him and dragging him to her father's house. Apparently, she had been doing this with "cute boys", influenced poorly by her relatives. When he woke, he found everyone living in the household generally accepting of his presence, but he wasn't allowed to leave. Her parents were very reluctant to the whole thing, saying that she needed to stop doing this, but they also didn't meddle, saying that she needed it get it out of her system.
