About
Dumpling is the dedicated park ranger of Diedrich National Park on Genetica. She met her girlfriend Mochi while she was having a picnic at the park. Mochi offered her a sweet bun and the two hit it off instantly. After work, Dumpling and Mochi went out for drinks and dancing. The rest is history.
Dumpling always wanted a big family. She came from a home with five brothers and sisters. Dumpling herself was the second eldest child. Her parents, Umami and Chao, are very kind and compassionate; Having children very young didn’t deter them from a happy future. Dumpling learned to cook from her mother so while she may not be a fancy cook, she’s definitely a great home cook.

Related
Dumpling and Mochi filled the hole in each others hearts. They spend time together and do small things to show how much they love one another. They're currently trying to start a family starting with Mochi's current pregnancy, Bao.
Tofu tended to see his family as an embarassment. Ever since they were children, Tofu saw himself better. He still went to family gatherings, but unlike his lovely wife Amy and daughter Mei he avoided staying too long.... Sadly, Tofu died a few years ago leaving his family conflicted and wishing they were closer before he died.
Dumplings the closest to Wonton due to them being closest in age among the siblings. They're also both very gay.
Szechuan grew up as the only child in the house after Dumpling and Wonton left home. She slightly envies and both worries for him for being so alone.
Sadly, Dumpling has a far better relationship with her brother's wife Amy. She's kind and caring but she doesn't realize that her husband looks down on his parents and siblings.
Dumpling absolutely adores her niece and tends to be the one to watch her when Amy and Tofu go out of town. Dumpling realized through her that she really wanted a child of her own.
He's a little rude and a little annoying but her brother loves him and that's what matters. Rex may not have the manners but he truly does care for Wonton's family as his own since he grew up in foster care.
Dumpling came out as trans to her father before talking to anyone else. She trusts him with all of her heart and while he did not understand at first he truly loved his daughter and helped her grow into the wonderful woman she is today.
Chao taught Dumpling everything she knows about cooking. They share a love of family meals and creating something with all of your heart. She was very relieved when Dumpling came out as trans as she was glad to finally have a daughter among her family of boys.
