Noeala has always been an anxious bundle of feathers. Ever since she hatched, she was wary of what she could do, especially when she found out she was venomous. She didn't want anyone to be hurt because of her, by mistake or otherwise. She often keeps her talons close to her, her teeth hidden as often as possible. She'll even try to hide the fact she has caps over her talons solely because of this, writing them off as decorative pieces she made herself.
She's a bit of an outcast on her home continent, being what seems to be a mix of a fire dragon and a sinornithosaurus. Most dragons have scales and leathery hides, but her dinosaur heritage has given her feathers and a potent venom, causing her to stand out in comparison to her kin. She tried to write it off at first, but now tends to live a rather solitary lifestyle to avoid questions. She rarely leaves the little island she calls home because of it.
Despite her situation, Noeala is content with her solitude. She scavenges for gems and precious metals, making pieces of jewelry and other keepsakes solely based on her own vision. She may not be as caught up with society as most on Zaphiara, but that doesn't phase her. As long as she has a fire in her talons and a project to work on, she's good to go.
Her lifestyle has led her to be a little behind on modern advancements, including the influx of tourists to her home continent. She rarely has visitors, and often tends to be rather awkward when someone does drop by her home. She'll house them if they need someplace to stay for the night, and make sure they're well-fed, but often leaves them to their own devices. Anyone who's become close with her often has to start the conversation themselves, helping her open up with genuine curiosity about her hobbies.
