Originally made as a weapon by using powers stolen from a god slain by humanity.
She proved too difficult to control and far too unstable, and her powers were sealed away until they could figure out how to reign them in.
She's since escaped and is on the run, and has had her magical restraints removed. Now she struggles to control her own power and is at risk of going haywire.
The more she taps into her powers and becomes unstable (often resulting in the sprouting in more wings and unnatural features that go away once she's stabilized.) the more she remembers of the god's life before he was killed, and she fears she may eventually lose herself to it.
