As a gifted youth with a benevolent personality, he has been loved since he was a child and has grown up to become to village sage. He doesn't have large ambitions and prefers the peaceful atmosphere of home instead. Although others have aspirations for him to go out and become a renown person from their village, he ignores them and instead stays behind to teach the young. Often his cloak spirit; Anuwau, is left wandering around with him as his companion and he very rarely doesn't have company. However, he feels a bit distant due to not having anybody like him in the area and seems to refuse leaving the village areas with the exception of visiting nearby villages or making a small expedition around the nearby landscape.

Sagi is an extremely patient man and is definitely suited for the teacher-ly role he has adopted. Although he has amazing prestige, Sagi is shy of fame and everything associated with it. He dreams of a peaceful lifestyle where everybody is happy and calm and has a distaste for war and attrition. This includes the competitive atmosphere he fears he would have to face if he were sent off into the open world and pitted against the rest of the gifted sorcerers of his time. He is not ambitious, but he suffers a dissonance from the people around him due to how different he is. He wishes he wasn't that different or special, and thus would openly turn down anything that would make him "stand out" from the rest of the crowd.
Anuwau, his cloak spirit on the other hand is a rather feisty personality. He is normally an ass and does not hold back in what he says to others. This includes his relationship with Sagi and ----
