oldest oc of mine still in use, She's an edgy angsty vampire with a tragic backstory, was originally the villain in a book I wrote like 3 years ago that never saw the light of day. as a kid back in crazy hyper religious/superstitious Europe days her whole extended family was hunted down and killed and her village that was a vampire populated village was burned down. She was basically left to fend for herself and would hop from place to place where other supernatural beings were, only to find them constantly killed or otherwise harmed by humans. She dealt with intense survivors guilt that manifested itself into a need for revenge to avenge the people who she’s lost. However as the world got more progressive and people stoped believing in things like vampires, she couldn’t let go of her hatred and anger and continues to hurt people. Basically she finds any excuse to kill people bc she believes it will make the world better. Deep down she knows that the world is a better place now and she no longer has to resort to violence to improve her life but she’s been one way for so long that the reality of changing that is almost too much for her, and it feels like accepting defeat and betraying those who died.

APPEARENCE NOTES

Tall and somewhat thin. 

if you're drawing her, eyes will be either green, red or the red green mix. Green is usually neutral, red is when shes feeling super intense emotions and red gleam is probably the most common cuz its that in between

FANGS!

can wear earrings, necklaces, or bracelets but not mandatory. Will usually be silver, red or golden. Ear piercings can be anywhere.

usually wears dark red or black clothing. Clothing is usually semi-formal or formal, doesn't really do casual. Can dress very feminine or very masculine

Has burn scars on her upper back, and a faint scrach-like scar across the back side of her right hand

can be drawn with smaller scars anywhere, since she heals faster scars that would be permanent for humans will last for 1-5 years on average, and she gets scarred pretty frequently

Ears are pointy but still human-like in terms of their main shape and placement on the skull

*alright gender time. Amber identifies as a gender non-confirming female and currently prefers she/her pronouns but is comfortable w any pronouns (and is pretty pronoun apathetic tbh). Her relationship w gender has fluctuated over the years so at some points in time they preferred they/them or he/him pronouns. Even tho she’s pretty apathetic towards pronouns tho she enjoys expressing both femininity and masculinity, not necessarily simultaneously/ in an androgynous way but in a ‘I’ll look how I want when I want’ way. its kinda like bc shes lived for such a long time it's not that her perception of her personal gender has changed its more so that the labels that best fit that fluctuate over time. think of it like gender fluidity but like really slowly fluid in identity accompanied by more frequent changes in presentation.
