[ vibe ]
overcast, the overwhelming feeling of dread, the onset of a panic attack, tattered plushes, stuttered breath and watering eyes, the prickling sensation in your throat as youre about to cry, broken willow branches, ill-fitted clothing, the burn of getting a paper cut, classic novella, swollen lips and bitemarks upon the hand, the soft cling upon ones curves, blood stains upon pillow cases, a bird with broken wings, crying during sex.
[ personality ]
- in a constant state of anxiety and/or depression; though there's times where one or the other, even both, are surpressed they still remain underlying.
- needs constant validation from his depended and gets incredibly stressed when left alone or having to make decisions.
- extremely introverted; he gets really low on energy very quick in public and only really goes out late at night or with cali.
- sometimes playful but only when around people he feels like are his friends; has the lightest bubbly laugh.
[ quirks ]
- picks at bottom lip when embarassed or flustered.
- always gets cravings while grocery shopping and winds up getting stuff they hadn't meant too.
- has a hard time standing the taste of any soda, especially more bitter ones, and drinks mainly water.
- doesn't like being in dark rooms with mirrors.
[ appearances ]
[ human form ]
- sickly with blotchy skin; vague warm undertones
- hair is messy, usually very rough unless recently having took a shower, falls into his face a lot and parts it to the side; overall a dark brown with greyer streaks.
- double eyelids, keens upwards, are a dark magenta thats often mistaken for black.
- stands at around five foot four and is really scrawny; easily bruises because of his stature.
- self harm marks all over his arms up to his collar bone and calves; nearly always covers them up with clothes, self-induced bruises, and accessories.
- chapped and picked at lips; sometimes puffy or swollen from the abuse.

- same general stature as before with only a few drastic changes to previous appearance.
- has two sets of wings; one set protrudes from the sides of his head while the other sprouts from their back.
- eyes split into two sets, much more narrow than before, have lightened to a brighter more pink color.
- scars now take on a similar hue to their eyes and a binding symbol is viewed upon their midsection.
- always nude, no discernible genitalia or nipples, think of a mannequin or a doll.
[ story ]
the essence of the messengers was created long before florence was, to serve under a god of creation who had attempted to hord the faith of mortals for himself, some viewed their kind as seraphs others claimed them to be demonic and some recognized them for what they truly were- the grunts of a decieving diety. the one who plays parasite to flos body was often viewed to be one of the more violent ones compared to the rest, holy vengence as brutal as the hand they were created from, and it wasn't long before they were struck down; physical body destroyed they took sanctury in host after host until eventually residing in flo, they're weak after centuries of hoping from one anchor to another and often dont rear their head unless their host requires it from them, there's no real distinct personality shift between flo's regular form and his prime as the messenger no longer bothers trying to take control anymore though in rare instances they will try to man the reins if they feel like the other can't handle it well.
flo very rarely speaks of his past but when he does its clear it wasnt pleasant, he skirts around talking about his parents and never references any siblings thus leading one to believe that he was an only child, and never really recalls any fond memories he has for either his father or mother if questioned about them directly- often only stating menial stuff they did in what can only be described as an exasperated tone. they were neglectful most time and abusive at others, having no qualms against hitting their child if they found scolding necessary, as time went on and flo grew older this eventually lessened but that didn't stop him from leaving as soon as possible.
from then until recently flo was on and off the streets, their mental health causing them great difficulty in maintaining a steady income which in turn meant he had no way of being financially sound enough to keep a place for their own, eventually after being harassed along with beaten in an alley for not paying off a past debt he found himself in the company of a man- god -named caligula. he, at one point, said that it was temporary but as time went on not only did he grow attatched to the feeling of having a place to come home too but also the fact someone was waiting for him when he did.
