On a cold winters day a few hundred years ago, a young girl waited for her best friend under a giant cherry tree. It snowed a lot and the strong wind only made it worse. The girl waited for several hours, not wanting to break the promise to her friend. Little did she know, that the person she waited for would never come to see her. So the young girl slowly froze to death in the snow under that giant tree.
When her body was found by the other villagers the next morning she was buried right where she died. But the spirit of the young girl, still waiting for her friend under that tree every day, soon inspired the villagers to pray to her so her ghost could rest in peace. Yet all these kind peoples prayes turned the spirit of the girl into a "Kami" and her ghost fused with the big cherry tree.
Now being worshiped as a god she was given the name "Sakrua"
