Rane's greatest flaws are her fatalistic mood swings and lack of self-confidence. While she always tries to do her best, she is often overwhelmed by the darkness she sees in the world, and the way it seems to tick like a weary clock. She wishes she could ignore it like Hayle, or just accept it like Eram, but she finds herself struggling time and time again to believe that she is actually doing something that matters, and is making a difference even though she can't see it. Her self-confidence tanks when she gets these mood swings, which causes her magic to act up, and soon everything has snowballed into a massive problem, that makes her even more disheartened.

Rane's best qualities are by far her compassion and selflessness. No matter what she's doing or struggling with, she will always take the time to listen to her friends and help in any way she can. She always puts the needs of others ahead of her own, and finds more joy in helping others rather than herself.
