Leonore has a rather intense fascination with death, but despite her macabre interests, she is very social and friendly to everyone she meets! The clash in personality can be off-putting to others who know of her job collecting dust but Leo doesn't let that get to her. When doing her job, she takes things very seriously and doesn’t make light of death, though she can be easily distracted. She has a soothing presence that helps her when comforting loved ones or even the dying Fairy Vial themselves! She’s a good listener and is always there to make people feel better about themselves.

Leo has a flair for the dramatic, loving to dress up and dress herself up to match her vision of what a grand “Angel of Death” should be like. She has good posture and a soft yet alluring smile that she practiced hours in front of a mirror to perfect. She also likes to dramatize her oracle magic, waving her arms around mysteriously and closing her eyes when singing the spell even though most of it is pretty unnecessary. Don’t let that fool you though! Deep down she’s a bit of an excitable child who fangirls over occult magic and anything at all related to death.

During a ritual, a group of cultists wishing to know the secrets of life filled a glass ornament with their blood. As they chanted, a Fairy Vial awakened from the vial of blood. Shocked and amazed, the cultists asked the angel-like being for the knowledge and the Fairy Vial demonstrated her powers by taking away life from the cultists. Thought, for the raven Fairy Vial Leonore, the deaths were accidental.

Instead of being horrified, Leonore grew curious. These beings, once very much alive were now very much dead. She grew obsessed with the ideas of death and wished to know all she could about it.

Leonore, learning how to sense death before it happened through practicing future sight through her glass ornament, traveled to Fairy Vials moments before they died to observe them. People began to speak of an Angel of Death that came and watched you as you died, and she became seen as an ill omen, a bringer of death.

One time, as she prepared to leave after seeing a lone Fairy Vial turn to dust, a suspicious Fairy Vial came and began to mess with the dust. Leo jumped down from her spot to confront to person but quickly learned that they were only collecting the dust of those who died alone to properly send their dust out to sea and put their souls at ease. She grew intrigued and asked the Fairy Vial, who she learned was named Desdemona, to show her how to do it herself.

After learning all she could from Desdemona, she set off by herself, continuing her habit of watching deaths happen but now she collected dust after if the person died alone. After doing this for a while, Leo grew frustrated with the limitations of her magic. She set off to the Sky Palace to learn how to become an oracle, as well as to hopefully find companionship where her reputation did not precede her.
