Sea

"Humans believe in these things called mermaids! They're supposed to be these half-fish, half-human things that supposedly live in the ocean... Very cool! If only they put their efforts into not spilling fucking oil everywhere."

One of the Ancient Gods, God of the Sea has been in existence since the dawn of time. It was born from the first drop of water. Unlike other Gods, it is rarely involved with the humans in Heaven, and has little understanding of their lives. It does, however, take note of the many many stories of the Ocean, especially the tales of great Greek gods and mermaids that bring sailors to their death. It lives alone in Heaven, sometimes taking time to float around and observe others. It is familiar with Life and Death, being some of the only gods around for as long as it has been.

It is indifferent to other Gods, but doesn't bother to interact with them because it simply doesn't care. It never speaks to humans and angels are even lucky enough to meet it. Its crown is adorned with beautiful pearls and it is said that if you stare into it you can see all of the oceans, a vastness that causes those that look for too long to become overwhelmed. Its favourite current ocean creature is the Whales, but of all time it was fond of the prehistoric great beasts that ruled its depths, such as the Mosasaurus.

It has developed an ongoing dislike for humanity as a whole, as they continue to destroy its beautiful oceans with their selfishness and complete disregard for nature.
