Tattoo: The symbol of the gang on the right side of his neck that also comes up along his jawline and onto his cheek. (see Four's sketch image for a full look at the design)
Personality : Protective. Level headed. Some would even say stern as if he couldn't take a joke to save his life. His men know differently. He know's when it's time to work and when it's time to play. In a relaxed setting he could easily be one of the most casual and friendly people you ever meet. Cross him when he's in business mode and things don't tend to go so good.
Clothing : Normally wears ripped t-shirts and other various scraps that are found laying about. The straps actually support a gun at the small of his back. He favor's colors of dull greens and browns to blend into the desert. (feel free to play with the design if you'd like. Think desert like clothing.)
Quirks : He is amazing with small blades. If there's a knife trick out there he either knows it, can do it, or can learn with little effort. His favorites are a butterfly knife and switch blade. Both of which he owns. He's not only good at blade tricks but also throwing them.
Extra : The leader of the gang. He's the one who made the decision to also hold their ground at the oasis that they found and build up a permanent home base around it. He is normally the voice of reason between the member's of his party and is the only reason why Faur is still around.

Baux Relationships

      • ✗ Faur:: Romantic. The type of romance that goes without saying. They can on occation be seen brushing shoulders or found curled up together in secret behind closed doors but most of the time they just seem to act like best friends. A brush of the arm or a hand on the shoulder lingering for far too long is normally a huge deal between them, speaking volumes without saying much at all. They are almost a 'bear' couple, lacking the whole flamboyant side of things.
      • ✗Duce:: Best Friend. Battle strategy and defense partner. Basically Baux's personal counselor as well when it comes to Faur and how to handle the two newest members of the group. Really the one that Baux tends to confide in most
      • ✗Thrice:: Neutral Friend. Really they talk about business most of the time, or the other group members like gossipy women. Thrice is extremely opinionated but also calculates what he says to try to steer people into thinking the way he wants them too. Baux, however, is fully aware of this and pretty good about cornering him into getting down to his point.
      • ✗Skrapz:: Friendly, though not quite to the friend level. Baux spends a lot of his time defending both Skrapz and Zipper to the rest of the group. He likes them around for their more diverse personalities and they do accomplish quite the service to assist them in remaining hidden as well as bringing back supplies that the group would have more issues finding. He is often reluctant to talk about the fact that they aren't true member's of the family yet because he is tired of forcing people into the family when they may or may not want to be. Regardless, Baux will defend that they are a good help the majority of the time as they haven't ever done anything to harm them.
    • ✗Zipper:: Baux finds Zipper to be amusing, childlike, and has this odd sensation and need to protect him. He often treats the guy like a kid and will be more selective of the tasks that he offers or asks of him for this reason. Zipper's aloofness and child like manner is a bit of a soft spot for Baux and he tends to find him fascinating more than anything most of the time.

 

 

World/Story Information

This story takes place thousands of years in the future in a post apocalyptic setting where 90% of the planet is covered with desert terrain. Water is scarce and the majority of the human race has been stamped out. Radiation has led to other types of splices to come into existence as well as some outer world races coming into contact from other planets with minimal connection. Earth has nothing to offer and as such they show little desire to trade the barren empire. The planet was laid to waste by the four horsemen who by rumor it is said were called prematurely. Instead of purging the planet to start a new they destroyed her and she is now slowly dying out. They now walk among the remaining residence, called to the planet once more in an attempt to save her.

However, that is another part of the story that isn't apart of the rest of this so to give more of an insight on the planet...there are four main empires with small developments far and in between the kingdoms. There is the North (Home of the Government) which is highly industrious with tall sky scrapers and all sorts of advanced technologies. They house and home the means to create water from seemingly thin air using alchemy to feed their large populous. They rule in very strict rules. Everyone gets a set ration. Everyone works. Everyone contributes. To go against their laws means exile into the desert with barely the clothes on your back.

The South which is known as the last ocean which is more like a huge glorified lake next to a few small miles of farmland. They are also known as the party center. Beach bunnies and babes surrounding the shores of the open waters that is also home to various sea creatures and beasts that managed to escape when the horsemen road.

The West (Land of the Gypsies) which is farthest kingdom from the others is known for it's bohemian ways and it's not quite known how they manage to survive with little trade. They are known to be mystics. A small clan but they do have proven powers and abilities that no one can explain with science or alchemy. They can create without taking from anything which is a gift that no many accept with open arms for the fear of the unknown.

The East which is known for it's trade and collection of lost artifacts and technology. This is where all of your little droids and robot helpers come from as the majority of scientists and researchers live here looking for parts and the means to create their prototypes to be mass produced in the north.

The World is run by one standard government mostly controlled from the North. Police are actually their own sect that function more like mercenaries. They have a strict code they follow, however, anything outside of that they are free to do as they see fit. They got their job trusted on their judgement and as they come and go as they please they are hardly to be messed with. At any one time you can expect there to be maybe a hundred police at any given time in a kingdom and a few hundred more on the road. A very minimal number, all things considered.

Naga are a main threat when traveling. It is said that they cannot talk or understand speech and really that is their own personal game. They don't like people to know how smart they are. It's easier to be feared when folks don't believe you can be reasoned with. In truth they can all speak fluent common and their own language. They live in large balls, or family groups and are built to survive the desert. (And baux does have two different types of naga's he keeps as pets in cages in his home. Group Information

These guys are a handful of renegades. They are known for residing on the trail from the south to the Eastern City where they tend to gather up what they need and only what they need from those who happen to pass by. Recently they accidentally stumbled upon an alcove under hardened and thick glass that has a very large underground trail of tunnels to it. That being fascinating enough, the bigger draw is the fact that there is water. A lot of it. Baux made the decision to settle down near it and they are constantly fighting to keep other people off of their turf and from finding out about it while also being locked in one hell of a war with local naga that say they had breeding ground claims to the caverns.

Along the inside of the caverns they have built in the basics to an entire underground city and set up defenses around the entrance to let them know if someone is drawing near or has entered their home including net traps and some rather more dangerous Indiana Jones like contraptions. Long term plans are to create their own trading outpost and actually attempt to make honest lives of themselves and bring in more people to thrive along side. If they can ever get over themselves this may be a viable option...in the mean time it's almost laughable.

The group started with six people. It dwindled down to three and then the group found Faur roaming around. They have this very strict thing with not giving away their real names as upon joining the group you automatically are giving up your old and outside life to become apart of the family.

Skraps and Zipper are basically on a trail basis. They haven't asked to join the family but they do have very keen skills that assist greatly with keeping the group safe and protect their new found home. As you can guess, the oldest members don't like them very much but Baux is rather open minded when it comes to potential new members.

That is the lightest general overview I think I can give. 

Oasis Alcove

The alcove is pretty damn massive. It only has the one entrance and the water does pool in the front of it a little bit into something of a shallow sink hole that will swallow you up to about your waist. There are sand stone paths all around the inside of the alcove and some areas that go back as far as 100 feet of nothing but beach. There are stone and glass pillars in the middle that go up to the glassy top that sometimes allows random amounts of light to shine through in certain area's before being covered up again. This never fully uncovers simply due to the way that the wind blows around the structure. There are trees in the water and vines fall down from them. They are in the deepest sections of the 'lake' and there are more of them than I have depicted below. They are also HUGE in diameter and several odd birds and creatures live in them.

Along the walls is where they have built their buildings and homes. There is also a small cave system near the back that has been worked at to also create their main living quarters where they have built in beds and other forms of furniture.

The water is clean and clear however, there are areas where you cannot see the bottom due to poor lighting.

The Size Reference above is a very crude reference that I did up. The person in front I hope helps with showing how wide the cave entrance is. There is also a very small version of the same figure in the background on the right hand side in the lighter area to show how big the inside is as well (I hope).

Over-all you can go nuts with the scenary of it. It's basically a large mostly underground oasis with weird exotic animals.
