silly stuff:

eiko and esme have matching star + moon bracelets.
esme's legs are very weak and prone to buises and cuts, as she has used her tentacles to get around for a large portion of her life, weakening her legs.
often, she will go out at night and just swing around like spiderman. the peace and cover of nighttime helps her relax. as a result, she has a terrible sleep schedule.
the tentacles are like an old wound. she has healed from them, but growing up she experienced a lot of 'growing pains', often bleeding out.
