Design Notes

• Her mouth is a speaker, and thus she cannot emote with it. But she's also a cartoon character so play with that limit! Be silly with it!
• I will usually draw ruby in her work uniform as she doesn't own many outfits she feels comfortable wearing. You may still draw her in whatever outfits you'd like her in, but she does prefer skirts/dresses.
• Her eyes are flashlight eyes I let myself be silly with.

History

195X-196X, Being accidently activated by the children of Andrew Roide, Rodolph and Rosie. The both of them quickly gaining a strong attachment to their new toy. Both trying to make the most of their time before their father returned from a business trip and keeping the robotic friend a secret from their mother. Rodolph, nicknamed Rudy, being homeschooled for the time was able to spend the most time with her. Not having many friends of his own being able to have something to talk with while stuck in his room made his life a bit easier. Even if that 'something' is still learning to communicate itself.

197X-20XX, Now left alone with her creator the robot, now calling herself "Ruby", is to take care of him. For the last few decades he had started resetting her memories due to what he refers to as 'limited space', placing the removed memories into a seperate motherboard system. This has caused Ruby to start leaving 'notes' and 'letters' to herself to inform her future selves of things they may need to do or people she'd want to complete. The relationship between her and Mr.Roide can only be referred to as distant and spiteful. Unsure of why, Ruby continues to do what she can to support him for what is left of his life by working at the newly opened diner, "Made of Love."

Today, Ruby currently lives alone, left in the old, decrepit house by herself. She has slowly stopped resetting herself on time, extending it by days, weeks, months, to years. Noticeably worse some parts of her ai, with her body following close behind. No longer having someone to touch up and keep her running, she has started breaking down physically. Living in the small town it's hard to find the parts nor the engineers with the ability to fix her, leaving her to wonder... How long does she have left and can she find someone who can help her?
