Snowball is a Samoyed-Malamute mix that belonged to Sammy when he was a teenager.

"Sammy, what is that?" Richard points to the giant ball of fluff standing beside his son.
"This is Snowball, he's the dog I told you I was going to get." Sammy says plainly
"I thought you were getting a guard dog." Richard sighed

Sammy got Snowball at the shelter when Snow was 2, he lived to be 19. Sammy was 16 when he got Snowball, so snowball died when Sammy was 33. It hit him hard,
Snowball was the biggest love and the most useless guard dog ever. He was a very happy and spoiled snuggle bug.

Snowball rolls over in front of Rich, looking up at him
"You are the worst guard dog in existence." Rich grumbles as a man points a gun at him
"Quit aiming at me so I can pet him you bastard." He glares at his attacker.

Everyone who met Snowball loved him dearly. Even grumpy old Rich.
