Boshti

• Naturally intimidating and moves with a sense of purpose. He can travel through many areas mostly uncontested. While he doesn't go unnoticed, he somehow feels official.
• Notorious in the Order for his accident. But most hold grudging respect, even if they don't like him, for his ability to turn himself around and create a better life-path for himself.
• Surprisingly supportive and positive to others.
• Will always give honest opinion, even if it holds critisims.

Personality
As someone who has reformed himself, he is very self-aware. Knows himself better than most. He knows his flaws and is always checking his actions against his own arrogance and temper.
Kindness is a learned trait that he is trying to work on. While his actions are often kind. His words can come across as hard and uncompromising. He isn't one to sugar coat and soften. He will tell things as he sees them and will push others for betterment.

Knowledge and Schooling
Highly educated. While his general education as a youth was fairly standard, he has continued to push his knowledge base and delve deeper into various topics to assist him in his work across the galaxy. Particularly in the fields of trauma and field medic care. Security systems for infiltrations and known bypasses. Cybernetic maintenance and repairs.

Beliefs and Morals (spiritual/religious and social)
For beliefs, he believes the New Jedi Order and it's tennants are for people like him. Ideals to constantly strive and push for. Even against one's own basic nature. He knows he leans towards selfish arrogance and a bad temper. But the Code helps give him guidance on how to defy that in himself and be a better individual.

Family Values
Not very family oriented or minded. He was found and taken in fairly young into the academy and never kept much touch with his birth family, who were not happy to have a Force user in their midst so he was fast disowned. He even has a sister that knows nothing of his existance. Not being raised in his own species traditions and culture has left him disconnected from his own kind. His arrogance, confidence, and pride even as a young child left him rather disconnected. But it was something he never fully noticed or realized until later the distance he kept and maintained with others.
He does value family and sees the benefit of them. Encourages those who have found thiers. However he struggles to feel that level of connection with others for himself. Always being more aloof and a loner.
Hes's never wanted to start or have a family of his own. Marriage and children are not for him.

Political Views
He has a basic understanding of politics and political structures, but often acted as a soldier. Following orders on what needed to be done and trusting the system more to know what was best and needed. He's grown more questioning as he's aged and seen more behind the scenes. He now tries to accept and go for missions he truely believes will benefit a larger amount of people. Bringing stability and a measure of freedom and peace for local residence. Rather than simply fighting battles and winning control points in the seemingly endless struggles of galactic ownership.

Technology Views
Technology is a tool to be used. This was only reinforced after he lost his arm and shoulder and he turned to cybernetics to keep full function of his body. He uses proper tools for whatever job he's doing and has a good understanding of circuitry and mechanics, especiallly in complex bio-mechanical systems.

Prejudices or Strong Distrusts
He has a distrust of political figures. Knowing that they often hold many different conflicting goals and desires. Knows many of them can be bought and well themselves in a bid for more power.

Goals and Motivations
He has shifted that early ambition and pride to motivate himself to become a better, more stable person. A kinder person. To leave a legacy behind that is more than just his mistakes and failings. To make up for the deaths on his hands.

Fears
He fears falling to Darkside temptations and corruptions, knowing he has more of a leaning towards it. Fears losing sight of his goals and will fall back to being the arroagant prideful prick he was before.

Combat Style
Close-range physical combat.
While he will try to minimize the fighting he gets into, and will not escallate things to a fight if he sees a way around it. Yet he won't back down from a fight that comes to him. He's a formitable opponent with a lightsaber or martial arts/brawl. He's not bad with a blaster and at range if he needs to use a gun. But close range is where he excels.
He will try to neutrilize and disable rather than outright kill. But he will kill if it comes down to it, to save himself or someone under his care and he won't lose sleep over it.

Force Powers

Boshti was born to a rich family on Shili. Being the eldest, a lot of pressure was placed upon him to please and learn into the family prospects and buisness. His father especially judged him harshly and nothing he did as a young child seemed to please or be enough. There was very little familial affection and loyalty was shown only after you'd proven yourself a valuable asset, impossible for a young child to do.
Once it was shown he was a Force User, he was quickly disowned and discarded and left to the Jedi who had discovered and brought up his latent talent. It was a trait that was unwanted and unneeded in the family. His younger brother taking his place.
Since he was taken away from his family and homeworld at such a young age, he never really grew up outside of the Order's teachings. However the abandonment and lack of affection as a young child had left its mark. He was told he had high potiential and connection with the Force and it was finally something he could feel good at. Which made him cling to that all the harder and push himself to improve and becomre more powerful. Both to spite the family that had abandoned him and because it was something that made him actually accepted and noticed in this new envionment. He grew quickly to arrogance and pride.
He was fast to get into combat and become a good soldier of sorts in the efforts and battles of the New Republic and Rebel factions. He enjoyed learning ways to combat and fight back against the Sith and New Empire. As a padawan he learned how to fight well and excelled especially in lightsaber combat and infiltrations.

So this first phase of his life was marked always with that pride and arrogance. It came to a head when he finally became a new Knight and was tasked to work alongside a fellow new Knight in an infiltration job. They were to work together to shut down a combat droid production facility and both of them had their own ideas on how to approach it. After some arguing, because Boshti was technically the younger one between them, he relented and they went with the other man's plan.
The plan went badly part-way in. The other Knight was injured and Boshti had to pull them both out. The job unfinished. Boshti lost his temper and belittled and berated the other man harshly. Claiming his plan would never have run into such complications and it was a mistake to have gone in the way they did. It pushed him further into the 'lone wolf' arrogance and prideful approach to the work he did. While technically still following and being a part of the Jedi Order, he was toeing a dangerous line of using the Force for selfish power gains. But never going so far as to truly touch the Darkside. He was not well liked but he was respected for his ability to get jobs done and perform well. So many still worked with him despite his insufferable attitude. He even had some measure of 'friends'. People who could put up with his attitude and didn't challenge him.

Boshti continued this way for several years and it took a near-death experience and actual darkside power use to finally wake him up and get him thinking and seeing things differently. He had spent the last couple of years playing fox and hound with a Sith. Each taking their turn as the fox and the hound at several points in their chase after each other. But things finally were coming to a head and a final showdown.
The Sith had managed to kidnap a few of the people he counted as friends. All to draw him out and force him to make a rescue. Which, predictably, he did. Even knowing it was a trap for him he still didn't really reach out for help. He knew from previous scraps with the Sith that he was 'better' and 'stronger' than he was. From their long chase he knew the types of tricks that the other man liked to pull and use. So he thought he could handle this fine on his own.
Which he was able to handle. What he didn't count on was how exactly his friends could be used against him. In a very phyisical and direct way. Having been turned into bombs. So when he finally did reunite with his friends and thought himself triumphant and successful in their rescue, they exploded. Leaving Boshti maimed and broken. When the Sith showed up to finish the job that the bombs had failed to do, the Sith couldn't help but gloat his victory. Which left an enraged Boshti able to make one final push to end the Sith. End him with malice and hate and anger. Overkill of the Force. Falling himself to the darkside in that extreme time.

It took a bit of time for him to be rescued and another few years of recovery. During which he spent a lot of time soul searching and contemplating his own life and choices up to that point. Really waking up to how people viewed him and not liking what he saw and found. Which caused the push to change himself and his outlook. He didn't want his legacy and life to end with this. WIth him being such an arrogant and lone asshole who can't ask or tolerate help or others. Or be yet another fallen Jedi who turned to the Darkside. Much of his later life has been spent trying to make up for his past and make a better name and legacy for himself.
Lohvin is his second padawan, one he feels a special sort of connection with. He sees how Lohvin will need to build himself up from nothing and has the chance to define who he is and what he wants. He actively works to build Lohvin's confidence and help the boy trust his own decisions. He helps Loh see that no matter his background and past, he can still become the person he defines and chooses; not the slave he's been groomed to be.
