Temporary description but lemme explain a thing about him and his species.
Maikas have no gender, so they tend to look both feminine and masculine. Trent goes by male pronouns! He identifies more with his masculine side.
Maikas ALWAYS have goat legs, but the other features on them change. For example, Their wings are always based on a living type of butterfly, and a Maika is born with an animal tied to their nature and they gain the animals ears as symbolism. When It comes to birds or animals without the ears they gain other features like feathers. (Fish and seals, however, can't be tied and usually result in them having scales or a blubbery like texture to their skin.)
Maikas are incredibly related to magic as most of them live in a giant tree that has been growing millions of years due to the magical source of energy in the heart of the Felloresian Forest. Some, like Trent, travel outwards outside of the forest and adventure to the world beyond trees. It's not harmful to leave the bubble of magic so it's ok!
