Sherri's Links
She loves showing Aries (extremely) miniaturized versions of celestial phenomena like solar flares, auroras, or star detonations. She hopes she's made their days just a bit brighter, and that she's not doing anything wrong when she tries to understand them.
'Auntie Sherri is really nice and caring, I really love when she shows me stars and Galaxies!' ~non-verbal
Sherri loves Nebula, as she typically does with familiars. She's happy to hang around and act as an extra food source for Nebula when it's possible, and she's very nice to them when she's around them.
Sherri wants to protect Flannery (and their squeakers). That's her first and strongest impulse. But she doesn't *just* see Flannery as a baby sibling: she also genuinely respects their skill as a chef and considers their food to be the standard to which all other food should be held. She'll actively choose to eat it.
When Sherri first arrived at the castle Flannery was nervous around her, as they usually are with strangers. It took time to get used to Sherri, but they now love her and trust her just as they do the rest of their siblings. They often worry about her poor eating habits, and are always trying to come up with new things that they hope will appeal to her tastes.
"Look. All of my siblings matter to me; I'd die for them if I had to. But Addi is the most important. She deserves way more than she gets, and she asks for so little. It's thanks to her that I'm as comfortable as I am here."
"Even I never foresaw just how important Sherri would become in my life, and I already knew we were going to be sisters ahead of time! I guess it just goes to show even seers can be pleasantly surprised"
"There's a lot of things almost no one knows about Rem. I feel lucky to know as much as I do... even if he can be a bit of a dork sometimes. He really needs more support than he lets on, but he's *still* one of the mentally strongest people I know. And... honestly, I can see why he finds his giant game boards and string charts fun."
Sherri thinks Kyrie is a very competent and composed woman, and she trusts her to keep Vaster safe. She also enjoys chatting with her about magical security and the details thereof.
"I'm so proud of Mallow. I was nervous when he was young. He felt so small and fragile. He's grown out of some of that, but he's never lost his heart. I used to think he should, so he'd be ready to protect his children and grandchildren. But he's chosen his own path, and I support what he's chosen. I love my baby."
Sherri feels that Okapi is right for Mallow. She'll protect him and do things that he can't, and he in turn will support her and provide things that she can't for their family. To say she was hesitant at first was an understatement, but by taking on a mission as Sherri's spy, she earned Sherri's trust.
"Melissa is... the reason I'm here. So that complicates my feelings a bit. Positively though. She's really energetic, and I don't think that's ever going to go away. But she's gotten a lot better at applying it over the years. She's easily motivated, picks things up quickly, and when it comes down to it, she'll do whatever she can to protect our family. I'm... very proud of her."
Aunt Sherber! Honestly she's got a bit of an old lady vibe going on, but I super love her to death. She acts a bit like a stray squeaker, so it took a few tries for her to really get latched into the family, but now that she's getting along with everyone I'm so happy? She deserves good things.
"It makes me nervous when gods act like they get to have two separate lives. Moryllis does it, and Wendy apparently does it too. As long as she treats Petra well no matter what we won't have any problems, at least."
"Sherri is a girl with a good heart. But she also gives me a migraine. The array of her possible futures and possible destiny is dizzying, REALLY."
"Sometimes I wonder how intelligent Dawn really is. She started treating Kesia as a mother around the same time she did me, and she understands some language... some days I wonder if she acts less smart than she is. It doesn't matter that much though. She's still a part of our family. I just hope attaching to me isn't bad for her in the long run."
