He's extremely close to Caesar. They've been best friends for nearly seven years. He says that Caesar makes him feel safe, despite the fact that he suspects Caesar of manipulating him. He loves how dominant Caesar is.

He's also very close to Noah. He loves Noah probably more than he's loved anyone, though he won't really admit that. When they first met, he tried to kill Noah, only to find the task to be surprisingly difficult. He loves that Noah isn't afraid of him, and he even admires that bravery a bit, though he won't admit that either. He feels that whenever he's around Noah he can truly relax.
