Being blunt, ready to fight, and sassy without a care in the world often doesn't put him on the top of many people's lists, but he isn't always like that (especially when it comes to dragons). He's a hard working and curious guy, always ready to learn more about the world around him and desires the social connection he never really got. He loves tinkering about with things and overall lending a helping hand and getting praise even if he just huffs and says whatever. He is completely devoted to his dragons as well, loving them to bits and consider them his own family.
