In his mid twenties. After being done with studying forestry he moved from a big city to the countryside where his grandfather lives (in the German alps). His grandfather is a forester who is about to retire in the near future, so Mats starts helping him out to take over his job later!

He is trans and while his few friends (all queer) and of course family knows it, no one at his university knew and no one in the village knows either. His friends have been mostly (and with moving to the countryside are now all) online and he stays in contact with them by chatting.

The setting is supposed to be similar to Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons/Bokujō Monogatari, because I like those games very much. x)

Personality

Being a loner and not a fan of meeting a lot of new people, he enjoys the silence of the woods. So finally being able to move away from the loud city is his childhood dream coming true. Online he is a bit of an queer activist and actively counters trans- and homo-negativity. In person he rather avoids those situations though.

He likes romantic stuff very much like feel-good romcoms.

Versions

There's a human version and a furry version! In the furry version he's a Kooikerhondje dog. (He isn't able to transform though, I just wanted to have both versions.)

In the village he gets to know Renee, who he starts to like romantically. But he is a bit too shy and subtle, so it takes a while for her to notice his advances.
