Kikai

Kikai is a robot dog made as a passion project by a lonely old scientist. He was raised by that scientist as a son and also was asked to help out at the lab. He is constantly seeking out new knowledge but also has very human-like emotions and enjoys interacting with others on his own terms.

He has a 19 hour battery life and needs to charge for 5 hours to be full. His charger port is on his tail. He wears a scarf at all times to hide the power core in his neck that changes from bright blue to dim brown-ish orange depending on how much power he has left, and also a part of his chest that isn't sealed properly because he is semi-regularly opened for maintenance and upgrades.

His arms are extendable and can be shot out, controlled at a distance, and then retracted back through the coil at will. He also has boosters on the back of his legs to aid in movement speed.

His eyes are capable of displaying almost anything but he usually keeps them displayed as normal irises and pupils.
