Shiro is the main protagonist of Infernal Terrain. He's the main leader of his group and also the human who Kuro possesed. He's a part of the Lefká race. He appeared as a minor character in Lost Saga who helped the protagonist.

Personality

As a child, Shiro used to be a playful, and active person. He's interested in learning new things because he wanted to be like his father, such as learning how do plants grow and produce their own food, how does rain happen, and etc. He's also an optimist about many things. Like most children, he's a picky eater. He dislikes eating broccolis because of its textures.

Growing up, he turned into a darker person. He is feared due to rumors about him killing people in the prisons. He is foulmouthed, rarely smiles, incosiderate, and cocky. When he is mocked, he most likely will give a more harsh response, to the point where the person feels useless and speechless. He becomes a typical delinquent. When facing an enemy, he immediately attacks them without thinking further, believing he's already strong enough. After beating them up, he usually mocks and laughs at them, saying that they're really pathetic and weak. This is also due to Kuro possessing him and constantly harrasing him, where Shiro is starting to lose his sanity slowly. His behavior is also caused by his trauma. He often gets PTSD when seeing things he sees in his old prison, such as chains and torture devices.

Unlike when he's a child, he's not a picky eater anymore. He doesn't mind eating any food as long as its edible. This is because when he was tortured for 2 years, he is rarely given any food.

Meeting Kairo, he starts to change. He's surprised that there's actually someone who doesn't fear him at all. He thinks that Kairo is interesting person because she's different than anyone else. He admires her calm behavior when facing dangerous situation, even can come up with plans in a short time. He acts rude the first he met her and still until now, but he thinks of her as an important companion. After knowing that Kairo is actually a female, he immediately apologized to her for touching her stomach without her consent, which Kairo brushes it off, saying that she doesn't mind it because he did it to treat her wounds and not to do inappropriate things.

Post-meeting Yuna and Sanshi, he becomes more calm and not as aggresive like before. He's more organized and precise when facing an enemy. He's cautious of his surroundings. If one of his friends is having a problem, he will try to help them.

Although he's still the same rude person and says foul words, now, he's actually a kind person inside. He cares about his friends a lot, even willing to risk his life for them. This may be caused by how his friends treated him. He isn't used to kindness after years of torture and people fearing him. He likes the fact that they don't judge him based on what others said. He decides to keep his "tough figure" because that's how most people judge him. He doesn't like it when other people tries to mess with his friends. This is shown when both of Sanshi's eyes were slashed, causing him to go blind, Shiro becomes furious and tries to kill the traitor. However, Sanshi told him to refrain himself. Immediately following Sanshi's words, Shiro only yelled at the traitor and threatened him if he dared to get closer. When Kuro said that he might try to "ravage" Kairo one day, Shiro gave him a death glare and threatened him as well.

He is said to be a tsundere by his friends and some people. For an example, he doesn't admit that he likes his friends and said that he dislikes having them around(however, we know that isn't true). He also took a liking in Kairo and always denies that he likes her, when being confronted by Kuro, Yuna, and Sanshi. He tries to not get too attached to them, because he fears he might lose them, like his mother.
