He lives in Dreamtonics system, which looks like a large endless coridor with many doors to personal rooms of each copy of voicebank the company sold. So, all versions somewhat co-exist together in it and are aware about their existence. All voicebanks can travel between other systems, being downloaded to them, and experience death being deleted from them. A voicebank can die completely in case if it'll lose company's support and there'll be no workable copies left, so most of them used to live just present day, and Ritchy is not an exception.
